Snowview Morgans travel to new homes!

I am thrilled to report that three of our Morgans have found wonderful new homes. A BETTER SOLDIER has traveled to Ephrata, Washington to become the new mount for Diane and Dale Pixlee. RIBBON IN THE SKY is now enjoying the beautiful ranges in Richardson, Wyoming with Carma Jean Henry. And I CROSS MY HEART is spending the winter in Laramie and in the spring, she will continue her baby training with Mallory until new owner Stephanie Shearer is ready for her to come home to Pleasant Lake, Michigan. Congratulations to everyone and special thanks to Mallory Mignot of Mears Morgans, Laramie, Wyoming for working so hard to find the perfect new owners for my horses.

Holly's New Baby is soon to arrive!

Coming hot on the heels of a new home and address will be ELLIOT, the latest addition to our family of canine companions. So not only is Holly enjoying a new home of her own in June, but she will be christening it with an adorable Jack Russell puppy. Life is good!

Snowview Fledglings Out and About

Mallory Mignot of Mears Morgans in Laramie, Wyoming reports that she is very happy with the progress of Mr. & Mrs. Lee's beautiful Spirit of Phantom (The Phantom of the Opera x Hershey's Kiss), a stunning 4 year old gelding who is honing his skills as a western pleasure and dressage horse (pictured right). Testimony to her faith in a client's breeding program, Mallory is also working with two Snowview bred horses that will be seen in the ring this year, the first being the young stallion Smithsonian, by Deer Park Graphic Design and out of Quail Run Dominique, who tested the waters last year in hunter pleasure and will be stronger and more confident in his final year as a junior horse this season. Also under Mallory's care and headed to the three year old western pleasure division is Isn't She Lovely (Treble's Tanqueray x Blythewood Acapella), a gorgeous filly in the image of her famous multiple World Champion sire.

Harvesting Tricolors at the Wheat State Regional!

A Better Soldier and trainer Mallory Mignot of Mears Morgans in Laramie, Wyoming returned from Wichita with Reserve Champion Open Hunter Pleasure honors and a win in the 1st and 2nd Year Green Hunter Pleasure qualifier. This dynamic team will make their next appearance at the Circle J Regional in Denver in July, then on to the Jubilee Regional in Springfield, Illinois the end of August.

Blythewood Accapella and I Cross My Heart: Go west, young women, go west!

As my two girls travel west to join their stablemate at Mears Morgans in Laramie, Wyoming, under the direction of Mallory Mignot, I am thankful for the friendship and considerations given to me by the Fleck family at Partridge Hill Stable. And of course I would be remiss in failing to thank their leading man--World Champion TREBLE'S TANQUERAY--for giving me two spectacular fillies!

Hitting it out of the park at the Grand National... Kristi Haines and Fenway Park (The Phantom of the Opera x Blythewood Acappella) have been working hard all year and were well rewarded at New England Regional with Reserve Champion Dressage First Level honors as well as Grand Champion Training Level, then went on to OKC for their first appearance at the Grand National. I was proud to see this team in person and watch them earn their first Grand National Championship titles: Dressage First Level Test 3 Open and Dressage Training Level Test 4 Open. Kristi and "Carl" were wrapping up a bang-up year with wins at such prestigious shows as Connecticut, New England, Massachusetts and many great rides and ribbons from OKC. Congratulations on a tremendous year! Kristi and Carl live on Cape Cod, Massachusetts and train with Erin Vansteenburg.

We love to watch our children grow... It was a thrill when Mallory Mignot selected Smithsonian (Deer Park Graphic Design x Quail Run Dominique) as her own personal horse, and Ian and Mal continue to make me smile as they advance their training and accomplishments. After a singular winning appearance in the Hunter Pleasure Open at the 2010 Continental Divide Show this year, they are now busy at work getting ready for serious business, and will be showing as well as breeding a few select mares in the spring in 2011. I couldn't be more proud!

Circle J 2010 Wins

I am over the top about A Better Soldier's recent debut at the Circle J Regional in Denver with trainer Mallory Migot of Mears Morgans! This magnificent team headed back to Wyoming with the spoils of TOP OF THE ROCKIES OPEN HUNTER PLEASURE CHAMPION and blues in Hunter Pleasure Stallions & Geldings as well as Ladies Hunter Pleasure. Watch Soldier's page for photos of these outstanding achievements!

Carly & Holly

I am thrilled with the arrival of my 2010 filly by World Champion TREBLE'S TANQUERAY, out of Blythewood Acapella, my second of this cross that just keeps getting better and better. Pictured at left is "Carly" getting acquainted with Holly. Special thanks to Greg and Carol Fleck at Partridge Hill Stable for taking such great care of Acapella and her newest addition.

A Better Soldier

Isn't She Lovely captured the attention of Mallory Mignot and I couldn't be more pleased that she's now become Mallory's SECOND Snowview Morgan! Mallory purchased Smithsonian last year from me and I feel fortunate to have placed two of my horses in such capable hands.
