FOR SALE

(Aspenglow Genesis x Callie-Ann)
2000 chestnut mare

Currently residing in Muncie, Indiana at Raintree Morgans.

Watch a video clip!

I purchased Leah from her breeder, Kathy Newcomb of Blythewood Farm in New Jersey, at three months of age. She has grown into a lovely young mare and is all I'd hoped for. Leah is quite accomplished in the show ring. Her wins include: 2nd Three & Four Year Old Mares In Hand - Maine Morgan Show 2003; 4th Sport Horse Breeder's Cup [71.95%] - Maine Morgan Show 2003; Junior Champion Mare & 1st Two Year Old Mares - Maine Morgan Show 2002; Reserve Grand Champion Mare, Junior Champion Mare, and 1st Two Year Old Mares - Granite State 2002

Leah is trained to ride and drive and has recently gone back to work to get in shape for her new owners. She would be an exceptional amateur or junior exhibitor horse in any number of divisions. We hope to have a new video soon of her working. She is reasonably priced for her quality and abilities, but no reasonable offer will be refused and shipping arrangements may be possible.

Leah's first foal is Fenway Park (aka "Carl"), a stunning chestnut colt foaled April 17, 2005, sired by our late senior stallion, The Phantom of the Opera. Carl's photos can be found on Phantom's Memorial page as well as on our Archives page. Her second foal was the 2008 bay filly, Isn't She Lovely, by World Champion Treble's Tanqueray, who has since been sold to Mallory Mignot, trainer at Mears Morgans in Laramie, Wyoming. In April 2010, Leah produced a second bay filly by Tanqueray who is as lovely as her sister, sports a flashy white face and is big and athletic. I Cross My Heart
, aka "Carly", is now two years old and was recently sold to Stephanie Shearer of Pleasant Lake, Michigan. The video of Carly and Leah was taken when she was just 3 days old... more photos below.

Ribbon In The Sky
(Shiloh Bold Command x Antwyne Diva)
2008 bay mare

Find out more about this wonderful young mare at her morganshowcase.com listing!

This young beauty was the result of a plan that came together due to three determined women. I had been repeatedly visiting the Jazztime Morgan Farm website and looking at the daughters of Shiloh Bold Command. He is a horseman's horse - a breeder's horse - and he has proven himself in the breeding shed and in the show ring. After much deliberation on my part, the best choice for a mare to breed to him was to be the lovely Antwyne Diva, bred and owned by my dear friend Judy Good Miller. So, I asked if I could lease her and Judy was very generous to share her best broodmare with me and let me try this cross. The result is "Ribbon in the Sky" who was born on Stevie Wonder's birthday, which is why we call HER Stevie. She was raised by Judy at her beautiful farm in WA.

A unique melding of new and old blood, "Stevie" is a very beautiful, athletic and nicely put together young mare. She has type with substance, and as you can see from her photos, there is no doubt she is a MORGAN and there is no doubt she is a MARE... it's those eyes--she comes by them honestly! One look at her dam's pedigree tells the story. Antwyne Diva is beautifully bred with Mr. Breezy Cobra, Donlyn of Windcrest, Waseeka's Charm, Waseeka's Theme Song and Courage of Equinox solidly behind her. Stevie's sire, Shiloh Bold Command, is a treasure of old solid blood that includes the Flyhawk son Stetson and two crosses to the legendary Rockfield, some of the best Brunk and western Morgan breeding left today.

"Stevie" is in the capable hands of Mallory Mignot and resides at Mears Morgans in Laramie, WY. She will remain in training and has a wonderful social life. She is well started and solid under saddle either in the ring or out on the trail--she's brave and willing. She is also working in lines and is nearly ready to hook.

With her petite size, this personable mare would be an enthusiastic partner as a CDE pony!

I Cross My Heart
(Treble's Tanqueray X Blythewood Acappella)
2010 bay filly

Currently residing in Laramie, Wyoming at Mears Morgans.

  I Cross My Heart

"Carly" was bred to be beautiful, correct and fancy. She is all that and more... she is kind, smart and deep bodied like her dam, and will be the best of the young western pleasure prospects you see offered for sale at this price.

She will follow in her father's footsteps from Regional to World Champion because it's all there. She has been handled with a eye towards her future and she is ready to go to the training barn this winter.

Have a bit of patience and this lovely young mare will become the star of the show ring when you hang your best silver on her and direct her to the Western Pleasure division. Don't wait on this nice young mare or you'll be trying to find the one to beat her at many times the price. She's the best I've ever bred!
