It is my goal to unify the traditional with the alternative, to bring physical refinement and athletic ability into harmony with relaxation and balance, to bring the horses' most primary needs into the framework of our human desire to move with them and share their space.

The Criehaven experience provides your horse with traditional training for show or sport arenas, as well as individual assessment:
  • how your horse learns
  • in which arenas your horse is likely to excel
  • which therapies support your horse's manner of coping with stress
  • farriery, dentistry, chiropractic care, herbs, energetic bodywork for support of your horse's physical release process, and nutritional support to ensure your horse's balance on all levels
  • homeopathy, essential oil therapy and Bach Flower remedies for emotional release
  • intuitive energetic bodywork for daily release from the rigors of growth, training and maturing on both physical and emotional planes

Criehaven brings the techniques of Linda Tellington-Jones, which are founded in the Feldenkrais tradition, Jack Meagher's approach to muscle work, Dr. Sherry Ackerman's combining of classical dressage and Taoist perspective of unity, and Dr. Deb Bennett's unique perspective on equine physical development together. By doing so, the process of equine education enters the realm of long-term betterment, regardless of your horse's career path.

Criehaven is currently creating a clinic schedule to include several highly renowned professionals from a variety of arenas for 2005. Auditors and participants are invited to e-mail us for more information on these public offerings. We also offer two- to four-day private intensives, with or without your own horse, during which the fundamentals of assessment of equine holding patterns, and utilization of modalities to release them are offered, as well as instruction, groundwork, and training for horse and rider/driver. Working student positions are available. Limited spaces are available for horses in training.
